Abia Technology & Innovation Network Announces Dates for Abia Technology & Innovation Summit 2025
Umuahia, Nigeria — November 24 2025 — The Abia Technology & Innovation Network (ATIN) has announced that the 2025 edition of the Abia Technology & Innovation Summit will hold from December 11–13, 2025 in Umuahia, Abia State.
This year’s theme, “Abia: Africa’s Emerging Innovation Powerhouse,” reflects the state’s growing ambition to position itself as a leading destination for technology, entrepreneurship, and creative innovation on the continent.
Abia Technology & Innovation Summit is the state’s flagship gathering for innovators, founders, policymakers, investors, development partners, and young talents. The 2025 edition will feature keynote sessions, panel discussions, exhibitions, masterclasses, policy dialogues, startup showcases, and networking engagements designed to accelerate Abia’s innovation economy.
Speaking on the announcement, the leadership of ATIN noted that the event represents a major step in consolidating the progress made across Abia’s technology and innovation ecosystem over the last few years.
“Abia has the talent, creativity, and entrepreneurial resilience to become a major innovation center in Africa. This year’s event will deepen collaboration, strengthen the ecosystem, and create new opportunities for young people, businesses, and institutions across the state,” ATIN leadership stated.
The Honourable Commissioner for Science, Technology & Innovation also highlighted the state government’s commitment to advancing digital transformation and innovation-led development.
“The Government of Abia State is fully aligned with the vision of building a modern, digital-first economy. Abia Tech Summit provides a platform for stakeholders to showcase solutions, exchange ideas, and contribute to a coordinated innovation agenda for the state,” the Commissioner said.
The three-day event will include a Startup Exhibition and Demo Day, Innovation Policy Roundtable, Talent and Skills Expo, sector-focused panel sessions, product showcases, and collaborative forums involving innovation hubs, academia, government agencies, and private sector partners.
